A grove where time
moves slowly.

Founded in 1962, Al Nakheel began with twelve palms planted by our grandfather along the Jordan River. Today, more than 14,000 palms stretch across our family farm — each one tended by hand from pollination through harvest.

We refuse the shortcuts of modern agriculture. No artificial ripening, no chemical post-harvest washes. Only patience, sun, and the slow work of caring for trees that outlive us.

From the bloom
to your table.

Nothing about Medjool is fast. The fruit takes seven months to develop. We take just as long to honor it.

    Cultivation

    Each palm is hand-pollinated in spring. We graft only from heritage mother trees brought from Morocco in 1962.

  2. 02

    Sun-ripening

    Clusters are bagged in breathable cotton and left to ripen on the tree — never picked early to be cured artificially.

  3. 03

    Hand harvest

    Pickers climb each tree up to nine times per season, selecting only fruits that have reached perfect tender amber.

  4. 04

    Slow grading

    Every date is hand-sized, weighed, and inspected. Anything less than perfect is set aside for our paste and syrup.
